Antoine Fregoli awakes one morning convinced that his wife Elizabeth is not his real wife. Becoming obsessed by the idea, he tries to prove that this woman who looks, talks, dresses, and sleeps with him like Elizabeth, is not really her, but someone else. How far will he go to find his "real" wife? Director Franz Josef Holzer plunges us into a subtly complex search for identity.
